Purpose of the course

The course aims to provide physicians and other healthcare professionals with valuable knowledge and skills pertaining to deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Participants will gain an understanding of how to determine, based on clinical symptoms and diagnostics, whether a patient should undergo ultrasound examination for DVT. Throughout the course, participants receive a comprehensive review of anatomy and an introduction to ultrasound examination of the lower extremities. Furthermore, participants are provided with updated international guidelines for the treatment and follow-up of DVT.
